Screenprint + Poetry Workshop:

On November 4, 2023, Unfolded Poetry Project led a poetry workshop followed by a screen printing workshop instructed by local artist Cecilia Sierra. Topics of identity, resilience, childhood memories and grief were discussed during the poetry portion. Victoria Lopez from Unfolded Poetry Project invited moments of self-reflection among participants as they worked on their poems. Participants then designed and screen printed their own posters. Some of which were inspired by the poems written at the workshop.
